Toot Your Horn It's Ok!

Hey hey hey all! I'm just sitting in Ms. Moore's class next to my friend Jon blogging it up. I don't know, I feel like writing is becoming my outlet again. It's possible I feel that way because people are reading my stuff now. I know it's good to be humble and modest but sometimes you want recognition or at least the little bit of comfort that someone has been paying attention or watching you. I figured it must be an other worldly coincidence that this happened three times today, so I figured I'd share it with you.

Examples:

1) Ok I wrote an inspirational note on facebook and I only say that because it inspired me and a few of my friends claimed it inspired them also. That alone made me feel good. The kicker was one of my friends, Nicolette told me it was really deep and she related to it a lot and she even liked it. I smiled at that as she also said I write a lot and I'm good at it. I definitely undermine myself so I don't get cocky but excuse me if a toot my horn a bit. *toot toot*

2) My friend had a really good discussion with me on the way people act. Not to mention I just had my epiphany on friendship so I gave my bit. By the end of our conversation I thought he would just be like "Eh stupid advice" although he said it helped a lot. Made me feel quite good.

3) Last but not least I'm a moderator on an Role Playing forum site called Ninpocho. I do a good bit but I never think I do much or anything important. I like to involve myself with the other players to show them I'm also a player, and person not just a mod. Well two people let me know my efforts were appreciated. One person thanked me for being so cool and helping out new players and making sure people were clear with rules as his training would have been "screwed without me" so he says. Another was from someone who I've been trying to help out of a sticky situation with OOC advice.

Now I feel great and I want you guys to try to feel great yourself. So if you can please leave a comment on when you ever recieved some type of gratitude and it just made you feel awesome and all nice inside.

Thanks for reading have a Great Day!

-Scotty
